ATech's Peterschlingmann Wins Entrepreneurial Award
ATech's Managing Director, Sarah-jane Peterschlingmann was recently awarded the prestigious WiT Sue Wickendon Entrepreneurial Award. The award recognises outstanding women whose vision, leadership and initiative have helped create their own enterprise. The award is named in honour of the late Sue Wickenden, a successful IT entrepreneur.
The award, sponsored by the Queensland Government, was presented by Sue Rickerby, Director General of DSITIA at the WiT (Women in Technology) Gala Awards night held at Cloudland in Brisbane.
WiT President Sue Johnston said, “Ms Peterschlingmann has established herself as a leader in the IT industry and is a worthy recipient of this award. She has strategically grown ATechnology from a shelf
company, with no employees and virtually no revenue, to a successful international company generating annual revenues in the seven figures.”
Ms Peterschlingmann said, “I am honoured to be acknowledged for my contribution to the industry. Thank you to WiT and the Queensland Government for their support and recognition of the
achievements of women working in ICT. ATech has experienced phenomenal growth recently due to growing customer demand for high performance cloud hosting that is local. I hope my business will help set the standard for other organisations and thereby make the ICT industry a better place for all.”
Ms Peterschlingmann was awarded a trophy, perpetual trophy, one thousand dollars cash prize and one year WiT membership.
